Saving band = current welder pool multiplied by the headcount reduction implied by the duty-cycle gain (capped at a conservative 40–65%). Payback band reflects the documented 18–36 month industry range for automated welding lines. Actual figures depend on plate mix, local labour rate and line configuration.
